Q&A: I want to bring awareness of nanomedicine to?

Question by Michael: I want to bring awareness of nanomedicine to?
to thousands if not millions of people? How can I do this? Start a club? Start a blog?
Walk from door to door?

Did you know there are plans completed showing how to build and replace your entire DNA- that’s 3 billion nucleotides.

Best answer:

Answer by EmmVeePee
It’s actually 12 billion.
3 billion haploid base pairs
6 billion diploid base pairs
12 billion diploid nucleotides

People like to remain willfully ignorant about science. Also, nanotech is still years in the making imo. While there are plans, that doesn’t mean it is practical, safe, cost efficient, or effective. It is amazing progress, but we’re not there yet. It is great to draw attention towards it, which also draws funding towards it.

The best way is to get politicians to support it. How do you do that? Maybe higher a stripper and write a note on her chest.

Walking door-to-door is a sure way for people to hate you and your message.
Clubs are generally only used for people who are already interested in it. You can still discuss ideas with them on how to get the word out, so this is always good. A club and a blog would be great, with a legitimate website. If you want to go balls-out then start fundraising and put some ads around your town. I would love to see a nanotech ad.

There may already be a group out there, so see if you find anything!

Also, spamming craigslist works.

Q&A: Why is nanomedicine so important and when is it gonna be available?

Question by Trillium: Why is nanomedicine so important and when is it gonna be available?

Best answer:

Answer by Dan
well it is so improtant becuase it can handle things on a scale that human hands or modern medical tools could not. its would be like trying to manipulate dna with your own hands, it cant be done simply because your hands are too big, but if you were to use something much smaller than your hands, possibly the nanomedicine that you are referring to, it would be easier to manipulate tiny things in your body with greater accuracy and success rate than anything we have today. currently, i believe nanomedicine does exist, but has yet to be used for medicinal purposes.
